Established in August 2023, Journey to Healthcare emerged with the mission to address disparities among aspiring medical professionals. Recognising the lack of specialised guidance in many educational institutions for students pursuing healthcare courses, we set out to bridge this gap.

We partnered with Journey to Healthcare for the Bridge the Gap initiative—a series of FREE A-level lessons designed to help students build a strong foundation in key subjects before advancing to A2.
In this collaboration, we offered targeted A-level tutoring sessions in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Psychology, covering exam boards, running from late August through mid-September. The goal was to bridge the gap between AS and A2 by focusing on essential topics that are critical for success in the next stage of their studies.
A highlight of this collaboration was when our founder, Sarah, had the opportunity to host a session on AQA Biology Topic 2: Cells. The session was attended by around 40 students and focused on the core concepts like cell structure, microscopy, immunity and more!
